Will receive you in a very professional way, no dull time is passed, relaxed and knows deeply about the details of the tour.
This tour, over the lands of Alentejo, promises to be a rewarding. We will visit one of the oldest towns in the country: Monsaraz. This town dates back from primitive times, and is known for its
fertile and generous lands, due to the Guadiana River that flows right by. Due to its unique atmosphere, Monsaraz has attracted human groups since the Prehistory, before becoming land of
Romans, Visigoths, Mozarabs, Jews and finally Christians. Today, we can still enjoy a view of the largest dam in Western Europe: the Alqueva dam, the most privileged site in the country to observe
constellations.
Our next destination will be a fortress town, considered cultural heritage by UNESCO: the city of Évora. Here we will get to know the most emblematic monuments in the city such as the Roman
temple, the Cathedral and the St. Francis Church, where the Bone’s Chapel is located. A visit to this monument is mandatory when in Évora. We promise it will leave you surprised by its unique
atmosphere.
