Wonders of the West

During this trip, one will be able to enjoy several historical wonders, which exist in harmony with Nature. Through our professional guides, who are creative story tellers, you will be able to understand the connection between humankind and the land. This adventure will start with a visit to a wonderful geologic formation, a hidden treasure created by the calcareous lands of the mountain of Aire and Candeeiros: the dens of Mira d’Aire, classified as one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal. You will become aware of a transition from the hidden wonders to the ones that have amazed people for centuries when we reach Alcobaça’s Monastery, classified as World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Then we will come across the coastline, where you will have the opportunity to meet Nazaré’s sanctuary, one of the most ancient in Europe, which offers a breathtaking view over this area’s bay.
This last wonder inspires us due to its medieval print. We will travel to the walled village of Óbidos, one of the 7 wonders of our country. In this picturesque medieval center, one will hear Christian conquests. After all, all of these elements still characterize the ancestral village of Óbidos.
