Arboretum Trsteno is the oldest renaissance garden in Dalmatia. Located on the property of noble family from Dubrovnik`s Republic,represents peaceful natural oasis where you will see interesting plants and herbs.The palm trees, eucalyptus,different types of exotic trees and more than 300 other plants are preserved to this day. But the most beautiful part of the Arboretum is a baroque fountain with nymphs from the 18th century named after the god of the sea, Neptun. The interesting thing is also that the part of HBO serial Games of Thrones was filmed here.So visit this Arboretum and enjoy in walk through amazing garden, mansion, mill and aqueduct, and in the marvelous view to the islands.
