Description

Feel the authentic Coast Experience
In just one day (7.5 hours) you’ll explore the hidden secrets and incredible landscapes of Sintra with one of our restored vintage convertible Portuguese UMM jeeps.
We´ll cruise past the palaces and castles of the UNESCO World Heritage town, head off-road through Sintra’s mysterious forests and soak in the jaw-droppingly beautiful seaside cliffs and beaches.
We’ll kick the day off watching surfers catch waves in at the famous Guincho Beach before heading off-road to Peninha Sanctuary. Soak in amazing 360-degree views of the forest, the Atlantic Ocean, Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais from the mountaintop.
Back in the jeep, feel the wind in your hair as we hit the dirt tracks back to the coast. More specifically, the edge of the earth. Cabo da Roca’s sheer cliffs and lighthouse mark the westernmost point on mainland Europe.
After ticking that off we’ll head to our secret viewpoint and “Buraco do Fojo”, a really cool natural attraction that only locals know about and travel guides don’t (yet) feature.
Lastly, we’ll stop by the most famous and wild beaches of the Sintra coast – from Praia Grande to Praia das Maças, and finally Azenhas do Mar. Here traditional white-washed Portuguese villages cling to the cliffside above sandy beaches and the wild Atlantic ocean.
Sadly the day is done and it’s time to drop you at Sintra train station
