Revelation of Lisbon Roman first century, with guided visit to the Roman Theatre Museum and the Tombstones of the black stones.
The Roman Theatre Museum reveals the Roman Lisbon. It features the remains of a Roman theater of century I. The theater featured about 4000 spectators, and only a third was revealed during excavations. It had a beautiful view of the Tagus, as you can see today from the museum's windows. Since 1798, following the reconstruction of that part of the city affected by the earthquake, they found the first traces of the theater, the streets enclave - the foot of the castle, down to the Patriarchal Cathedral - has been the subject of archaeological excavations. It is, therefore, that we find in the three floors of the museum objects from the Iron Age, as well as the Medieval and Modern times.

Pedras Negras, these four gravestones were discovered when was made the construction of the building called "Prédio do Almada", pombalino type construction. Tombstones have Latin inscriptions, two of which relate to the Roman gods, including Mercury and Cybele. The monument's name refers to a trail located near the Rua das Pedras Negras. On site were also discovered what would be trace of a Roman temple. It’s part of the archaeological site that can be found in downtown Lisbon, which also includes the Roman galleries of silver street and the Roman Theatre in Lisbon.
