Lisbon: Half-Day Tour

This tour through Lisbon focuses on the two of the most contemporary and iconic points of the whole district: center of Lisbon and Belém. In the company of a local tour guide, you will be provided with a local map of Lisbon joined by some information of all the monuments included in the tour, Wi-Fi and complimentary bottles of water. The trip will begin once everyone has been picked up from their respective hotels and driven to the historic center of Lisbon, where you will see and get to know the most famous streets such as Marquês do Pombal, Avenida da Liberdade, Restauradores, Rossio and Praça do Comércio.
While in this part of Lisbon, the tour group will have the chance to visit Castelo de São Jorge, a castle that stands on the highest hill of the historic center which offers every visitor to the castle an unique and broad view of the whole city of Lisbon and it's magnificent river, the Tagus River. After this part of the city has been explored, the tour will move on to the next iconic point: Belém - a 15 to 20 minute drive from the center of Lisbon. Belém is one of the most lavish areas to visit while in Lisbon, in it you will find the most prodigious monuments to Portugal's history, monuments such as: Mosteiro dos Jerónimos - one of the most visited monuments of Portugal, Torre de Belém, Padrão dos Descobrimentos and of course, it wouldn't be a true visit to Belém without visiting the most well-known and much loved bakery of Lisbon- Pastéis de Belém, as the name implies it serves the best Pastéis de Belém with the original and well-kept secret recipe.
The tour will then end on a sweet note while you relax with a Pastel de Belém in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. At the end, your tour guide will drop the tour group off at their respective hotels. After an amazing day passed exploring Lisbon, you will feel like true Lisboetas. The group will always be accompanied by a local tour guide who will join the group during the visit on the inside and outside of the monuments to show you the best way to visit it but also to explain all the history involved with Lisbon and the monument picked by the group.
